It was only a matter of time before I would have another encounter with the revived and iconic LNER A3 4472 Flying Scotsman (or as BR 60103 in this instance), and today was a great excuse!
60103 was hard at work on the North Wales Coast line on Wednesday 15th June 2016, with the Crewe to Holyhead leg of a Cathedrals Express from London Euston. She is seen here passing the double semaphores near Abergele and Pensarn; she'd been slow due to a preceding passenger service, but as soon as the semaphore closest to the line cleared, she began to pick up speed for Colwyn Bay and Llandudno Junction.
